Your first round: a guide to BoxFit.

Arrive with time to settle in

Get to the studio 15 minutes before class. Your coach will help with gloves and show you how to wrap your hands. Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes. Leave rings and watches in your locker.

Technique comes before speed

Your first session focuses on stance, a straight punch and returning your hands to guard. You will repeat simple combinations on a bag. There is no sparring, and you can work at a pace that lets you stay coordinated.

“A useful plan gives you a clear reason to come back.”THE FORGE COACHING STANDARD

A skill worth practicing

Boxing rewards attention. Ask questions and focus on one cue at a time. Over a few weeks, familiar movements begin to feel less like instructions and more like rhythm.
